"Last I recall reading, I think that Visa and MC might charge merchants around 2.5% per transaction, and AmEx maybe 4%. I know that I have used a credit card for every gas purchase I've made in the last 5 years except for maybe 1 or 2, assume many others do as well. As we've seen gas prices rise approx. 30% in the last year ...
