This is a great submission. Maybe some of those who make silly excuses for the rich paying less in percentage will listen to Mr. Buffet.

If only all the big guys were as honest as Mr. Buffett.

I doubt it, many of those who make the silly excuses really seem to think that the rich are entitled to paying lower percentages in taxes, as if they have done more to earn their money, worked harder than the average person.

Or maybe it's a hope they're holding on to that one day they too will hit it big, and they want to keep it.

There are others like Buffet ... obviously not enough though.

The ones like Buffet are so few and far between, greedy and underhanded, they don't care about the middle class.

Good for Warren Buffet, all i can say is good luck, and go Obama!

What a refreshing breath of fresh air. A wealthy man who speaks some truth.

Let the wealthy pay the same percentage we do. See what they think of the system then. They would be upset at all the wasteful spending of blood and money if it came out if their pockets.

Buffet seems to be a wise and honest man. Why can't someonelike that run for the presidency. He has enough money where he couldn't be bought.

Way smarter than Bush and the stumbling neocons, more palatable than the I have a plan for change democrats running right now.

Both parties need to listen to him and understand what he is saying.

Fair taxation not priveledged for the wealthy.

In 2007 Dick Cheney had $3.04 MILLION in income and paid less then 20% in Federal Income Tax. By contrast a couple making $212,000 paid 27% in Federal Income Tax.

There is something REALLY wrong with that!

Good submission, jordan. I don't think most realize just how unfair the current tax structure really is. Kudos to Buffet for his demonstration, even though he is the beneficiary of the current system.

Buffet is remarkable: a populist billionaire.

(At the same time, it's all very noblesse oblige, isn't it?)
