U.S. exports have been helped by a weaker dollar and this is providing a boost to an otherwise weak economy, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Dennis Lockhart said on Saturday.

    The market seems to be projecting a recovery in the making, a mild turn-down (if there actually is one) and a strengthening dollar.

    Paraphrasing the old "what's good for GM is good for the USA"

    "What's good for the USA is good for the world".
