If the article is on the mark, we should end up with 80 to 90 percent of the votes, and 10 to 20 percent sinks. This story REALLY has my vote. We are being taken to the cleaners... or worse yet, we already have!

Why hasn't there been a revolution, or the stirrings of one?
I believe the partial answer is that we have had our common sense so dulled by the constant barrage of propaganda of how good we have it, that we are afraid to change the status quo. We pride ourselves on being patriotic, and individualistic, traits that go counter to the idea that we can band together to achieve a common goal against another of our own compatriots. Instead we suffer in silence, complain by the water fountain, and ask how high we should jump when the boss comes around and tell to get to it. Most of us are dependant, economically to our job, so how can we rebell against it, even if we perceive it to be wrong. We are actually afraid to dissent.
Unfortunately we have gotten to a point where we allow the goverment and politicians to control us, rather than the other way around. We vote by habit, rather than thinking about candidates rationally. We allowed politics to become a bussiness, not a cause.
