I don't know what this presidential administration was thinking!
It seems that Bush thought that all he had to do as president was start a war, get wealthy at the expense of Americans, borrow and spend, and borrow and spend some more, and everything would go on as usual for everyone else, while he and his band of thieves filled their cofers to running over.
Probably more like it that he just didn't care what happened to every one else, just as long as he got what he went there for.
