See there are rich Nations and stupid nations.
The rich nations are capitalist and self governing. The stupid nations are run by dictators under their favorite political theory.
The anti-globalists want the rich nations to be run like the stupid nations.
Next question.

What a reach Dion,,, that would be as silly as saying Clinton shot rockets into Iraq on Blue Dress eve as a way to avert attention away from it.
Your statemnet proves when it comes to conflicts it usually ends up what people feel is a good reason to put soldiers lives on the line,,,,, the left is all too willing for the purpose of human rights and the right is willing to protect our interests. Iraq BTW covered both bases so you should be pleased with at least half of the reasons.

Well, now, welcome to the Fourth Reich.
First, German police kidnap children and then imprison their parents for exercising their right to home school their own progeny against socialist indoctrination. Now, they are seizing servers, and not just people, for exercising their right to voice their opposition to socialist globalization---and all under the hackneyed ruse of either "security" or "anti-terrorist measures". Nice try, government guys, but we're not buying into it.
Frighteningly, it is the 1930's happening all over again, except, this time, by the far left and not the far right.
Al-Jazeera, nothwithstanding, what are the so-called "G-8" members so afraid of, anyway: the TRUTH?

Okay, we have "Intel says" vs. "Media reports". Who is to be believed here, anyway? Certainly, neither. I have seen this too many times before.
Second, if the G-8 boys and girls are so afraid, I am quite certain that there are enough guys and gals with guns to provide adequate security for their meeting while simultaneously allowing the opposition to publicly demonstrate against them.
This is a no-brainer for even the dumbest of European bureaucrats and was, therefore, a non-issue until the ham-fisted hook of government decided to intervene as a "preemptive" measure. Now, they have a public relations mess on their hands.
Idiots, all of them.

The fatcats and elite have the reins of power and they will use any and all means to stiffle dissent. America does not have exclusivity on this tactic since Bush will go to any extreme to stay in Power while perpetrating a war of Lunacy on the average American. It is not Lunacy for the rich that Cheney/Haliburton, wolfowitz and the oil lobby, which control thoughts, insist on shoving down the throats of the illiterate and followers that inhabit our nation.
Dissent within America is an illusion that seems to be lacking like the other wrong war, Vietnam. Apathy is the prevailing idiom with the consequences obvious each and every day with Bush as our continued Leader. How anyone can accept this administration with all the corruption that prevails is unbeliveable. As an independent, regardless of party I ponder the lack of responsibility that the average citizen shows.
All nations elitist should be shown the exit door instead of promoting wealth for the few.

NelsonR:
A War of Lunacy. How succinctly put. A war of lunacy motivated by the logical end of the money trail. Dissent here at home is only an illusion as far as we Americans continue to accept it as an illusion.
Once the bluff is called and the majority of our altruistic and apathetic citizenry comes to grips with the fact that we outnumber them by some 15,000 to 1, will we wrest our nation back and restore our republic.
Only then shall we be able to "show them the exit door".
