Postal rate hike causes owners to change mailing plans

Money – Most consumers will notice only a 2-cent increase in first-class stamps, to 41 cents. But extensive rate changes also will make it more expensive for businesses to send most of their letters and packages.

Better use up those 39cent stamps and get those letters in the mail! ;-)

HA! I would have paid 50 cents, I never send letters. I guess I should invest in a roll of forever stamps! Are those the ones with Elvis on them?

Yeah, no kidding. Sending mail through the postal service is something I haven't done in a long time. As for Elvis, the forever stamp is actually the Liberty Bell (ugh, Philly):

I will just buy the 2cent stamps needed to go with what is left of the 39cent stamps. (another corporate profit gig, at the tax payers expense!)

Maybe the number of junk mailers will be reduced? (saving trees & the time it takes to shredd junk mail!)
