July 24, 2006, 10:40 p.m.As you can see, Apple has since bounced back nicely with its quarterly results that revealed that profits were high even during a historically slow quarter and an increase in PC marketshare (Apple's laptop marketshare is up from 6 percent in January up to 12 percent in June...and rising). I doubt that whatever Microsoft has in store to compete with the iPod will have any adverse affect to Apple shareholders' confidence levels. With the back-to-school and holiday seasons approaching, below $50 is highly unlikely.
Oh yeah, there's a Steve Jobs keynote address at WWDC coming up soon, and you know those are always fun to watch alongside your stock ticker.
